About Our Team
Our team of tax professionals includes tax preparers who are experienced in Federal and State taxation for various entities. Our team is required to take Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses each year to stay aware of the changing tax law.
Patricia Diekema, EA

I earned my BA in Accountancy from Ferris State University. After graduation I worked in the manufacturing industry for 5 years as a Production Scheduler and HR Assistant. I have assisted my family with preparing their tax returns since 2004.
I’ve been a professional in the accounting and tax preparation industry since 2011. My focus is small to medium businesses and individuals. I am enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.
I met my husband at college, and have lived in Holland since 2011. I am thrilled to raise my children in this wonderful lakeshore community.

I’ve worked in customer service positions my entire life. I have a love for numbers, math and learning new tax laws. Deciding to work in a seasonal industry has been a wonderful transition for my career.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my grandkids.

I graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from Southern New Hampshire University, part-time.
Austin Mulder

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Simply Counted is my first accounting position since completing my degree.
I am especially interested in tax accounting and look forward to growing my skills in the profession.
